About Project Lucid

Hullo there. I'm Tobias Black, the founder of Project Lucid. I'm a writer who was born in August 1982, I've been blogging for six years, and I've maintained a pretty active social media presence during this time as well. Due to my fascination with the Internet and all the valuable information it possesses, I've spent several years documenting, researching and exploring the various tips & tricks of the wellness elite, and I believe I've found myself sitting on a gold mine of knowledge.

I started this website Project Lucid as a two-fold experiment: to spread what I've found through my research into beneficial Life Hacks and productivity tweaks, and to serve as a therapeutic engine for myself and whomever else may need a little more light in their lives. As the motto here goes, "An ongoing mission to prove that the world is never, ever too bleak." I'm dedicated to daily content of great use to my growing readership, and carefully approach feedback with an open mind. After all, this project is here to help, and if there's anything you feel we lack or could expound upon, we'd be happy to hear it.

Don't get us wrong--we're extremely lighthearted folks here, and we're not interested in being "Life Coaches" or consultants of the fact. We're just trying to inject our own brand of positivity back into the world. We've become pretty good at it.

For ease of access, all of our articles are listed in chronological order in our Archives page to the right, and any nifty tricks we use to augment our lives have their very own spiffy page, Featured Articles. These are usually links directly to the sources, for simplicity and carefree browsing. We also list some of our favourite websites further down the right column there, either for the material that we share here (LifeHacks/Productivity), or some other blogs that we read for various purposes, typically like-minded people with a lot of well-written work to share (Featured Blogs).

Each of the photographs headlining our articles are pulled from a superb collection of free-to-view artwork from our friends at deviantART. Every photo is cropped to fit our needs, but the full credit, along with the name of the piece and the author's username, is listed under each, as well as a link back to the original posting page of that photograph. As with all works we cite, we implore you to visit these artists and explore their work.

On occasion, we'll pull a full article from somewhere else online, but in these cases it will be made abundantly clear that we did not write it. Full credit, a proper link to the original page, and a promotional summary of the website will be included on each of these "highlighted" articles. Typically, though, we like to write our own work, so when this happens it is because we can't do the article justice by paraphrasing or reworking it.

We hope you enjoy Project Lucid, and that you'll subscribe and come back daily for our updated content. We strive to make it worth your while!
